Kiewit Corporation is seeking an individual to work in our Design-Build Management Department, based in the corporate office in Omaha, Nebraska. This position will report to the Vice President, Design-Build and will perform functions in support of Kiewit’s transportation, water and heavy civil design-build work in the U.S. and Canada.
Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining relationships with Kiewit’s design partners, supporting project pursuits and providing offsite management assistance with design-build project delivery. In addition, the Design-Build Manager will participate in internal design-build training, track and communicate lessons learned, review design estimates and schedules and help implement emerging technology.
The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; be a registered Professional Engineer; possess a minimum of 10 years’ transportation and highway design experience, along with design-build experience in an at-risk or hard-money project environment; have good verbal and written communication skills, as well as good client relationship skills; be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team; and possess the ability and flexibility to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of MicroStation and Inroads software capabilities. Frequent travel will be required.
